Therapy Group For children.
A HAPPIER, HEALTHIER YOU
Group therapy provides a safe, non judgemental space for children to explore, support and engage with each other. The group is facilitated by one or two therapists depending on the number of children and will have its own individual aims depending on the type of group and the issues the group will be exploring.
To help determine what groups to run we have created a survey system where with the help of schools and other professionals we can regularly identify and support current needs and issues within a younger population.

If you would like to know more about groups, please contact us directly. We will also regularly update this page when we are running specific groups.

If you are a professional working in a school and you see a particular need where a therapeutic group would benefit children, please do contact us to discuss further.
Thank you to an Area Wide Grant of £1000 from South Gloucestershire Council we were able to run the group again in May-June 2024 for a larger number of sessions.
"You are amazing. The space you have created for our children is so special. My child adores coming to "sibling club" and feels very safe and heard with you".

"My daughter really benefited from a weekly group with other children in a similar situation. My daughter felt very safe and accepted in the group. She shared her bullying openly and felt others had been through this too".
We want to say thank you to Oldland Parish Council for the donation of £500 that has allowed us to run a group during the summer break, free of cost for the families.

The group has brought together children from a large variety of backgrounds but with a shared reality. They all live in a household where another sibling suffers from mental health issues or some kind of additional needs.

We wanted to create a space were the children felt heard and acknowledged.

"My son has LOVED it . He has been absolutely buzzing with joy after every session. I think knowing it is just for children like him has made it more special and given him chance to meet with other children who 'get it'.
Thank you. "
