Parent - Child Therapy.
This is an embodied approach that aims to support and strengthen the communication between parent/main care giver and child.
From an embodied approach the therapist will work with the parent and the child in the therapy space to provide understanding over body language and how to improve communication skills from the point of view of body expression and visual clues. A mindful and compassionate attitude is held all throughout the process.
The main aspects of the therapy is around communication and boundaries within the relationship. Some of the keys for a meaningful communication is in the receptive attitude of the parties involved and a mutual acknowledgment of each other. This needs to be done in a meaningful, consistent and conscious way to be effective and sustainable.
Parent's will learn to understand what are their more dominant style of parenting and how this is communicated to their children continuously through body language.

The therapy is designed for parents that struggle to communicate efficiently with their children and may feel overwhelmed with their children's demands.
Once we receive the referral, a first meeting will take place with the main care giver(s) in order to complete a pre-assessment.
