Our Story
We are a group of qualified therapists who have many years of experience working with children and their families therapeutically. Whilst working with children we have been able to witness first hand the benefits that creative therapy provides for children as well as the wider positive impact it has on the whole family and the larger community.

Our commitment has always been strong and the positive feedback received from families and professionals has been empowering and always supportive.

In March 2022 we came together and founded Bristol Creative Therapy Centre C.I.C, so that we would continue to reach those children and help change lives.
BCTC is a non profit organisation. We are constantly looking for funders and donations so we can increment over time the therapy service and the number of families that we can support.

We are currently based at The Vassall Centre, Bristol, and we receive referrals from individuals and from professionals. You can find and download the referral form here or find at the top of the page.
MISSION
Our mission is to reach children and their families in need and be able to offer professional, affordable therapeutic support, that transforms children’s lives. The therapy we offer is inclusive and aims to integrate and support the families’ background and needs. Our service will provide tailored support to those children exposed to adverse childhood experiences and their families to overcome trauma and build resilience in a lasting and sustainable way.
VISION
BCTC’s vision is to develop a holistic therapeutic centre for children, young people and adults in the community so that we will evolve side by side with the needs of the community’s most vulnerable members. We listen to their voices and we join forces with them to navigate the difficulties that have arisen.
