Bristol Creative Therapy Centre C.I.C
IMPROVING CHILDREN'S WELLBEING AND MENTAL HEALTH
At BCTC we believe that every child deserves to live a life inspired and rich, so they can reach their full potential.
We offer creative therapy sessions (Play Therapy and Dance Movement Psychotherapy) to those children that experience challenges or issues in their lives that make it harder for them to cope. These services are available to residents of South Gloucestershire, Bristol and surrounding areas.
Creative therapy can help children to work through issues such as grief, loss, bereavement , separation, illness, attachment difficulties and trauma. It can help children who are anxious, shy, angry, withdrawn or those who find it hard to make friends and believe in themselves.
BCTC is a non profit, community interest group founded in March 2022. BCTC will provide professional, affordable, accessible Creative Therapy sessions particularly to those families who cannot afford to access therapy at commercial rates. Please contact us to find out about our charges.
We are currently taking referrals. Referrals can be made directly by professionals or individuals that want to self-refer or write a referral for someone they know.

Thank you Warburtons for your donation. This money has allowed us to buy materials (sensory toys, puppets, craft materials...) for our therapy rooms which will make a big difference to our clients.
Our project has been chosen to receive support from Children In Need!!! We are so thrilled.
Thank you to all the people who have kindly donated and made it possible.
Thank you Children in Need!
BCTC would like to say a huge thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund. Their funding over the last few months has enabled 352 therapy sessions, which has made a positive impact on the lives of more than 30 families.
"From start to finish my therapist has been a very positive person in my child's life and made her feel safe and able to open up to her when she could. The therapist has been friendly and supportive throughout. I would highly recommend"
BIG THANK YOU!!
We are so grateful to FISHPONDS LOCALITY ACTION GROUP (FLAG) for the fantastic donation of £500 to BCTC to buy inclusivity toys. The children have already started to use them and we are thrilled with being able to keep growing in inclusivity. Many thanks for your support!!
Thank You very much to Edmundson Electrical Ltd

Happy to say we have our BCTC Xmas tree displayed @ Treefest 2022, St Mary Redcliffe Church. Our tree has been decorated with images of doors. Behind each door a wish or dream written by some of the children we support.
